Our established long-term relationships with a broad range of subcontractors and consultants allow us to quickly assemble the appropriate team for both large and small projects. 

We believe communication is the number one tool of successful projects. We see our most important role in the completion of projects is first and foremost as listeners. Our project managers are well versed in the principles of project management with collectively over 60 years of construction experience. We understand the important role of open and honest communication in delivering quality projects. We take advantage of new technologies to communicate with our clients, staff and subcontractors in a timely fashion so projects stay on schedule and on budget. As a company that works in the city we live in, we approach construction disturbance as if it’s happening in our own homes. We take a pro-active approach to project planning that seeks to identify issues before they arise which allows us to have mitigation measures in place or at the ready when needed. We have a lead site supervisor at each project who serves as a single point of contact for community concerns.

As a Certified Business Enterprise (CBE), we understand the challenges small local businesses have in getting a seat at the table. We are committed to helping fellow CBE’s grow their business. We use the DSLBD CBE database to find new subcontracting partners. We have also mentored former HEP Team Members who have gone on to open their own small businesses and then partner with us as subcontractors.
