Steven Jabali Nash

Director of Project Management

Steven provides Construction Management services for both our commercial and residential projects. He is responsible for coordinating and managing the WAP, LIHEAP, and SETF weatherization programs from DDOE grants. With over 40 years in various areas construction, Steven has helped to propel H.E.P. into one of the premiere construction corporations of DC.

Steven obtained a BA in Business Administration from California State University and has since worked as the HUD 203K Work Write-Up Consultant for Virginia's Housing Made Simple; Certified Energy Efficient Rater for the Virginia Home Energy Resources Organization; Core Curricula, Carpentry, and Insulating Instructor for the National Center for Construction Education and Research Curriculum; and Instructor for the Home Builders Institute PACT. He has worked and taught construction in Washington, D.C. for over 30 years and continues to help the Nation's Capitol build and grow through HEP Construction.

Saud Jabali- Nash

President

As the owner and President of H.E.P. Construction, Saud’s dedication to construction and the community has been evident in his inception of the company and creation of opportunities for DC residents. With over 15 years of experience in construction, Saud has has worked various positions within construction from lead carpenter to project manager, offering viable solutions to many projects. He is certified in XXX and notable projects include XXX.


Saud attended St. Augustine College in North Carolina, where he received a B.S. in Industrial Hygiene, which focuses on safety and quality control in the workplace. He ensures that the H.E.P team meets all safety standards and inspections. He is a DC native, which is impetus for the employment of DC residents for the company’s projects.

Mohammad Khokhar

Vice President

Mohammad serves as our Vice President, overseeing our residential projects and XXX. With an extensive background in finance and project planning, he performs our cost analysis and manages renovation sales.


Mohammad brings more than 14 years of experience in construction to H.E.P., from subcontractor management to employee training in residential construction and remodeling. His certifications include XXX. As most of our staff, Mohammad is a DC resident.

Wanda Briscoe

Design and Operations Manager

Wanda has close to a decade of experience in the construction industry. At H.E.P., she serves as our Design and Operations Manager, handling designs and plans from concept to construction. She also performs site evaluations and RFP bid document reviews, prepares bid proposals and responses to RFP’s, and manages material procurement. She uses her GIS skills to identify business development opportunities. She has applied her knowledge of local codes and regulations, construction techniques, and procedures to help H.E.P. run smoothly as a corporation.

 

Wanda received both a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master of Architecture from the University of the District of Columbia and has since served as a Construction Analyst for the Architectural Research Institute and Project Assistant for a 30 million dollar utility contractor.

Denise Taylor

Assistant Project Manager

Denise serves as HEP's Safety Supervisor and Assistant Project Manager, conducting site safety inspections and managing quality control. She currently holds OSHA 30 and Construction Supervision certifications  and is in pursuit of Historic Preservation and Construction Management Technology degrees at Northern Virginia Community College. As a construction liaison, she is responsible for XXX and performs XXX

Terrence Green

Terrence was awarded HEP Construction's Best All-Around Foreman/Personnel for his reliability, organization, and attention to detail. Nyeem Smith

Nyeem is a certified Carpenter who has been with HEP for over six years, working his way up through the ranks to become Superintendent. Voted HEP's "Most Reliable," he is always early to a site and has perfect attendance. His specialty is Doors and Framing. He is a graduate of Ashworth College and his desire to continually grow in construction has lead him to pursue a PMP certification, which is currently in progress.
